About MBM ScienceBridge GmbH
MBM ScienceBridge GmbH is the technology transfer organization of Georg-August University Göttingen. Originally started in 2001 this initiative was transfered in the form of a private company in 2004. The goal is to evaluate, protect and actively commercialize intellectual property generated at Georg-August-University Göttingen and seven other research institutions in the state of Lower Saxony. Our focus includes innovations from the areas of Medical and Measurement Technology, Life Science, Chemistry, Physics, Information Technology, Forestry and Agriculture.

MBM ScienceBridge GmbH supports scientists in generating the greatest possible value out of their research. To this end MBM ScienceBridge propagates the idea of intellectual property and its benefits within Universities in Lower Saxony. Additionally, MBM evaluates inventions for eight universities. After patent applications are filed by specialized patent lawyers, MBM ScienceBridge strives to make these university innovations available to the market. We identify suitable technology and licensing partners, arrange demonstrations and presentations of the technology and coordinate contract negotiations in cooperation with different law firms.
Besides that, the MBM ScienceBridge supports contacts between University scientists and companies that are interested in research cooperations.
