About PVA Mecklenburg-Vorpommern AG
The Patent and Valorisation Agency (PVA) Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in northeastern Germany was founded in November 2001 and consults the nine universities and research institutes in the region on an exclusive basis. The regional research focus lies primarily on biotechnology, medicine, informatics and chemistry.

The services of the PVA include market analyses, filing of appropriate IPR, commercialisation e.g. through out-licensing, initiating collaborations between industry and academia as well as investments in spin-off activities through a seed-fund.
