The Patent Marketing Agency (PVA) is one of the three main business areas of the "Wissens- und Technologietransfer GmbH" (WuT) which arose from the technology transfer office (KWT) of Saarland University.
The main focus of PVA is to evaluate and exploit relevant inventions of Saarland University and of Saarland University of Applied Sciences (HTW). Because of the good cooperation with the KWT the PVA possesses a lot of contacts to many different companies and networks in all lines of business. These business contacts help the PVA to exploit the inventions successfully, either in licencing or selling them or in assisting spin-offs of the university which are founded on basis of a protected invention.
