About Campus Technologies Freiburg GmbH
Campus Technologies Freiburg was founded in 2002 as a service enterprise with the aim of promoting innovations out of research by the University and the University Clinical Centre. Its business activities stretches from the handling and project management of research and development assignments and the technology marketing for know-how and industrial property rights to the promotion of spin-offs and investments.

CTF gives to its clients advice and answers to a broad spectrum of questions concerning intellectual property rights and services such as patent management and consultation including patent commercialization. CTF is the main point of contact for inventors from the University and the University Clinical Centre. Its services encompasses the complete process chain from inventor consultancy to the conclusion of contracts.

CTF has recourse to over 1000 patent applications with approximately 200 patents already granted from the areas of medical engineering, pharmaceutical technology, microsystems engineering or soft matter research and bordering fields of technology. The current commercialization factor amounts to 54%, which documents the intrinsic value of Freiburg patents.
