The activities of TechnologieAllianz are being funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) under its initiative SIGNO Deutschland, a programme supporting universities, enterprises and private inventors in taking steps for legal protection and economic utilisation of their inventions.

Co-operation schemes with industries and technology transfer associations - like the Association of German Industries (BDI), the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) or Proton Europe - strengthen the TechnologieAllianz network and provide a decisive contribution to optimise the exploitation of inventions.
